Author ; Rogelio Pérez C Summary When we see the difference of daylight on planet earth and on the moon, we ask ourselves why is there lighter on earth? If the earth and the moon are almost the same distance from the sun, so they should have similar daylight. According to this research the answer is that the moon and the earth receive the same amount of radiation from the sun per m2, but the greater amount of white light we see on earth is due to ultraviolet light that is radiated as white light by oxygen from the atmosphere. On the moon as there is no oxygen, because it has no atmosphere, the white light we see is received directly from the Sun, Figure.1 evidence.
